"The first step in awareness is to be watchful of your body."- OSHO

There is a place in the body where we meet life in its most intimate form.

The pelvis.

A centre of movement, sensation, instinct and creation. A place that carries us, grounds us, and connects us to the simple experience of being alive.

And yet, it is also a place where we may hold on. Where the body contracts, protects, or becomes quiet.
Sometimes we are aware of it. Sometimes we have simply become so accustomed to holding tension that we no longer recognise it as tension.

Our bodies develop ways of responding to life. We tighten, brace, withdraw, keep moving or learn not to feel certain things. Over time, these responses can become so familiar that we mistake them for who we are.

Pelvic Tension Release is an invitation to look a little closer.

Across three individual sessions, we explore the relationship between tension, movement and awareness. Not simply to release what is held, but to become more conscious of how we inhabit our bodies, how we respond to what we feel, and what happens when we meet these patterns without immediately trying to change them.

Tension Release - Allowing the body to respond

TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) works with the body's natural tremoring response. Through a series of preparatory exercises, we invite the body into a process that can bring habitual tension into awareness and offer a different experience of holding and release.

Yoga Release - Meeting what we hold

The jaw, hips and pelvis can be places where tension becomes part of how we move through the world. Through focused release practices, we bring attention to these areas and explore the relationship between physical holding, movement and sensation.

Unwinding Kundalini Yoga - Finding movement from within

In Unwinding Yoga, we turn our attention to the lower back and the body's capacity for spontaneous, intuitive movement. Through gentle exploration, we move away from predetermined shapes and allow movement to emerge through sensation and attention.

This practice invites a different relationship with control. Instead of directing every movement, we create space to listen and respond. As habitual patterns soften, we may discover new possibilities for movement, a renewed sense of vitality and a deeper connection with the body as a living, changing experience.

These three approaches form one journey. Each offers a different way of meeting the body, and together they create space to explore what holding, releasing and becoming aware can mean for you.

The sessions are shaped around your experience.

The deeper work is in becoming aware: noticing what happens before you react, recognising familiar patterns as they unfold, and discovering that there may be more space between sensation and response than you once thought.

HOW IT WORKS
We meet for three individual sessions, scheduled at a time that works for you. Each session offers space to explore, practise and reflect on your experience. You’ll also receive simple practices to return to at home, allowing the work to continue between sessions.

We take time to reflect on what you notice along the way, making space for questions, insights and whatever comes up in your process.
