Every woman experiences the period around menopause. The period leading up to it, perimenopause, is often one of palpable transition and change. A variety of vague and/or significant discomforts can arise during this time, making it difficult to identify, relate to, and manage in relationships with others.
In this in-depth afternoon, we'll build on the path we embarked on together during the first workshop. We'll refocus on the transitional period, where so much is happening, and where awareness and self-care will play an even greater role.
During this day, we'll delve deeper into Nutrition as Medicine - Intolerances & Tension Release. We'll explore how histamine intolerance, gluten, and other foods can impact your energy levels, mood, and overall well-being. We'll also explore the impact of stress on the adrenal glands. We'll share insights, experiences, and practical tools to help you better understand and support your system.
We also invite you to release tension through Tension Release bodywork, and we'll further soften your body through Restorative yoga. We create space in your body, allowing tension to flow away and your nervous system to calm down.
As always, there's room to share what you're experiencing during this time of transition, what's changing, what's becoming visible or tangible, and what you need along the way. Not to fix things, but to alleviate, soften, and support each other through whatever presents itself.
You are welcome to reconnect, deepen and experience what this phase has to tell you.
The program is accessible and structured with a sense of calm and lightness. You can take away from this afternoon whatever resonates with you and discover what works for you in the time afterward, in your own way.
